Kirk Tabbed as Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week

Waltham, Mass. – Bentley's Fraser Kirk (Burlington, Ontario) was tabbed as the Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week on Tuesday, for the second time this season.

Kirk earned the win in both games of the Falcons' sweep of Niagara last weekend. He made 21 saves in Bentley's 3-2 overtime victory on Friday night, then made 23 stops in the 4-2 victory on Saturday.

For the weekend, he had a .916 save percentage and a 2.00 goals against average.

On the season Kirk has a 7-3-1 record in 11 starts, with a .904 save percentage and 2.32 GAA. He was previously named the Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week back on Dec. 3, after he went 3-0 to help Bentley to a win over Brown and a sweep of Holy Cross.

The Falcons have won four straight games and currently sit in 5th place in the AHA standings with 32 points. They are back in action this weekend with two home games, Army West Point on Friday and Arizona State on Saturday.
