Frozen Fenway Stories

The Bentley hockey team made it 2-0 all-time at Fenway Park when the Falcons defeated Army West Point 3-1 on Jan. 5. This followed Bentley's inaugural appearance at Frozen Fenway during the 2013-14 season, when they defeated Holy Cross 3-2.

Defenseman Alexey Solovyev scored a 1st period goal at 6:16 to give Bentley a 1-0 lead. Center Drew Callin tacked on a power play goal at 4:18 of the 2nd to give the Falcons up 2-0. Army got to within 2-1 with a goal at 12:20 of the 2nd, but Bentley never lost the lead, and freshman Brett Orr sealed the victory with an empty-net goal with 10 seconds in the 3rd period. Junior goalie Jayson Argue made 25 saves to earn the win.
