Ethier, Yoder Gain Academic All-NE10 Honors for 2nd Time

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Northeast-10 announced its 2019-20 Academic All-Conference team for men's golf with Bentley University's Ellis Yoder (Fort Wayne, Ind./Homestead HS) and Tommy Ethier (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS) both earning the honor for the second straight year.

This marks the fifth consecutive year that Coach Mickey Herron's team has had at least two players garner Academic All-Conference recognition.

Yoder, a 2020 CoSIDA Academic All-America® honoree who earned his Bachelor's degree in only three years, and Ethier, a rising senior, have both made their mark in the classroom as well as on the course, where they were All-Conference selections.

Yoder, who'll pursue his masters this coming year, achieved an impressive 3.96 grade point average while majoring in computer information systems.  Ethier, a corporate finance and accounting major, finished the spring semester with a 3.64 GPA.

Ethier was chosen as the Northeast-10 Player of the Year and received PING Division II All-East Region honors for the third straight year. He played in five tournaments during the abbreviated season and posted a 73.0 stroke average, just 1.2 strokes vs. par.

Yoder, a third-team All-Northeast-10 selection, had a career-best 75.75 stroke average in four tournaments and was the team's co-captain.

Combined, the two have made the President's List ten times in 12 semesters.
