WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University junior Cal Meyers (Richfield, Wisc./Slinger HS) has been named the Men's Golfer of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference following his outstanding performance in the recent North Alabama Division II Preview.

Competing against a very strong field that included five nationally-ranked programs, Meyers posted a team-best 72-75-79-226 to tie for 44th overall. He had 41 pars during the tournament, tying for the third most.

Meyers leads the Falcons in stroke average at 75.7. He's shot in the 70s or better 13 times during 15 rounds, including four of five so far this spring.

This is the second Golfer of the Week award for Meyers, who was previously recognized back in September after tying for medalist honors during the Quechee Division II Challenge with a 69-73-142.

Meyers and his teammates will be back in action April 9-10 with the Cottrell Invitational in West Chester, Pa.
