McClure & Misic Receive CSC Academic All-District Recognition

WALTHAM, Mass. – Sophomore guard Cash McClure (Readfield, Maine/Maranacook HS) and senior forward Ivan Misic (Toronto, Ont./Cape Fear Academy), both of whom started every game for the Bentley University Falcons, have been named to the 2023-24 Division II Academic All-District men's basketball team by the College Sports Communicators.

McClure led the 19-11 Falcons in rebounding and field goal percentage, and was second in scoring. He finished the season with averages of 14.0 points and 7.5 rebounds, with his production on the boards fourth best in the Northeast-10. A third-team All-Conference selection who is majoring in economics-finance, he came very close to a 50-40-90 season, finishing with shooting percentages of .503 overall, .400 from three and .886 at the foul line.

McClure, who had totaled only 42 points in limited action as a freshman, had a half-dozen 20-point games and three double-doubles this season.

McClure was tabbed as a CSC Academic All-America finalist and will advance to the national ballot.

Misic, after missing last season with a knee injury, returned to action this year and was part of a starting lineup that never varied all season. He averaged 8.0 points and 4.4 rebounds, and was the Falcons' top shot blocker with 18.

Misic, who is majoring in quantitative economics, scored in doubles nine times with a high of 23 against Missouri-St. Louis during the Small College Basketball Tip-Off Classic. During that tournament, he also blocked three shots against Colorado Mines.
