Large Turnout for Bentley Men's Basketball 60-Year Reunion

WALTHAM, Mass – More than 150 alums and their families turned out at the Dana Center on June 10 for a celebration of 60 years of men's basketball at Bentley University.

Among those in attendance were all four of the program's 2,000-point scorers (Jason Westrol '10, Ryan Richmond '19, Tyler McFarland '16, Bill Holden '90), six who earned All-America honors (Westrol, Richmond, McFarland, Nate Fritsch '08, Al Grenfell '75, Zach Laput '24) and four who were Academic All-Americas (Richmond, McFarland, Joe Betley '80, Keegan Hyland '16). Among the attendees were at least five from each decade and 36 who scored at least 1,000 points as a Falcon.

Jay Lawson, Bentley's head coach since 1991, said " Our 60 Years of Basketball Celebration was a tremendous success. Thank you again to everyone in attendance for taking time out of your busy schedules to enjoy a special day together back on campus."
