  • A buzzer-beating three by Ryan Richmond at Merrimack qualified the Falcons for the Northeast-10 Championships for the 35th time in the conference's 37-year history.
  • Bentley has an all-time winning percentage of .634 in regular season NE-10 games, a success rate no other program can match.
  • The Falcons achieved the program's 21st winning season in the last 22 years.
  • Bentley owns the eighth best record in NCAA Division II history (970-521, .651)
  • The Falcons were in the top four in the NE-10 in scoring (81.5), field goal attempts (62.7), three-pointers made and attempted (9.0-22.9), three-point percentage (.392), free throw attempts (20.9) and fewest turnovers (11.6).

11        Ryan Richmond, So, G, 6-0, Toronto, Ont. (Thompson Collegiate/Williston-Northampton School)

  • Led Falcons in scoring with his 22.6 scoring average best ever by a Bentley guard and third best in program history.
  • Also averaged 5.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists while shooting 48 percent overall, 39 percent from three and 85 percent from the line.
  • Highest scoring sophomore in Division II nationally, second-highest scorer in the Northeast-10 Conference and No. 17 nationally in Division II.
  • Improved on his freshman year scoring average by 16.6 points per game.
  • Seventh player in program history to score at least 600 points in a season.
  • 2nd-team All-Northeast-10
  • 2nd-team National Association of Basketball Coaches Division II All-East Region
  • Broke the Bentley single game scoring record (40) with 45 points in a Northeast-10 first round game at Adelphi.
  • His 20 field goals in that game broke another school record and tied for the most in Division II during the 2016-17 season.

25        Brandon Wheeler, Jr, G-F, 6-4, Stamford, Conn. (Trinity Catholic HS/Cheshire Acad.)

  • Averaged 12.4 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals while playing 31 minutes a game.
  • Sixth-best rebounder in the Northeast-10 Conference with his 8.8 average the best by a Falcon since Brian Tracey's 8.8 in 2009-10.
  • First Bentley player with 10 double-doubles since Tracey had 11 in 2009-10.
  • Bentley was 7-3 when he had a double-double.
  • Four straight double-doubles from Feb. 4-15.
  • Season highs included 20 points against Pace Jan. 18, 17 rebounds at American International Dec. 19, six assists against New Haven Jan. 7 and four steals in the Dec. 19 AIC game.
  • .520 field goal percentage included .621 (18 of 29) during the final five minutes of games.
  • Scoring average improved monthly, from 10.4 in November to 11.8 in December to 12.9 in January to 14.3 in February.
  • Tied for seventh in Northeast-10 in steals per game with 1.3.
  • Named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll three times (Dec. 20, Jan. 3, Feb. 13).
  • Career averages of 7.7 points and 6.3 rebounds.
  • 537 points, 443 rebounds, 76 assists and 63 assists in 70 career games (51 starts).

10        Matt Barr, Sr, G, 6-0, Stratham, N.H. (Cushing Academy)

  • Started all 27 games and averaged 10.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 29.9 minutes per game.
  • Led Falcons in three-pointers (61) and three-point accuracy (.442) with his percentage from deep sixth best ever by a Bentley player with at least 50 triples.
  • Was sixth in the Northeast-10 in three-point percentage
  • Scored in doubles 14 times, including a pair of 20-point games (at St. Michael's Feb. 15, at Merrimack, Feb. 21)
  • Bentley was 8-3 when he connected at least three times from downtown and 9-5 when he scored 10 or more points.
  • Averaged 12.3 points during the month of February, the most productive month of his career.
  • Finished his career with 479 points, 160 assists, 152 rebounds and 91 three-pointers in 97 career games (37 starts).
  • .406 career three-point percentage is seventh best in program history.
  • Career averages of 4.9 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists.

21        Ferguson Duke, Sr, G, 6-2, Dartmouth, N.S. (Hun School)

  • Averaged 9.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists while playing 30 minutes a game in 27 contests (all but one as a starter).
  • Scoring average improved each year of his college career, as did his playing time, three-point percentage, rebound average and steals.
  • Scored in doubles 14 times with Bentley 8-6 in those contests.
  • Only career 20-point game came against Franklin Pierce Feb. 11, a game in which he was 7-for-11 overall, 2-for-2 from three and 4-for-4 from the line.
  • Made at least one three-pointer in final 13 games of the season, a stretch in which he made 22 of 45 from distance.
  • Closed out career with 16 points (6-7 fg, 4-4 3's) in Northeast-10 first-round loss at Adelphi.
  • Shot 52 percent overall and 41 percent from three in the second halves of games, up from .366 and .378 before intermission.
  • During the month of February, averaged 11.6 points and made 52 percent of his three-point attempts.
  • Tied for seventh in Northeast-10 in steals per game (1.3).
  • Concluded career with 687 points, 292 rebounds, 179 assists and 95 three-pointers in 101 games (54 starts)
  • Career averages of 6.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists.

33        Zach Gilpin, So, F, 6-5, Hampden, Maine (Hampden Academy)

  • Was Bentley's second-leading scorer, averaging 13.2 points as well as 3.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists.
  • As a starter in ten games, gave the Falcons 17.3 points per game while shooting .457 from the field, .377 from three and .871 at the line.
  • An ankle injury in early February prematurely ended his season, forcing him to miss the final seven games.
  • Scored at least 20 in four of his ten starts, including 20 in his first one, Dec. 10 at Stonehill.
  • Career-high 22 points, on 9-15 shooting, Dec. 30 against Bridgeport.
  • Before cracking the starting five for the first time, averaged 8.4 points off the bench.
  • Projection of 21.3 points per 40 minutes was 12th best in the Northeast-10.
  • Named to the Jan. 23 Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll.
  • Career totals include 285 points and 84 rebounds, with career shooting percentages of .441 overall, .400 from three and .860 at the line.
  • Career averages of 7.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 16.2 minutes in 37 games (10 starts).

20        Kyle Bouchard, So, F, 6-5, Houlton, Maine (Houlton HS)

  • Averaged 5.5 points and 3.7 rebounds while playing 21.5 minutes a game.
  • Appeared in 26 of the Falcons' 27 games, including 15 as a starter.
  • Scored in double figures five times, all coming at home, with a pair of 18-point efforts (Nov. 11 vs. Bloomfield, Feb. 18 against Saint Anselm).
  • In the Dana Center, averaged 7.1 points while shooting .513 overall and making 12 of 22 from three-point land.
  • Started the first six games, got the nod twice in December and finished the season with seven straight starts.
  • As a starter, averaged 7.7 points while shooting 44% overall and 42% from 3 (14/33).
  • 251 points and 165 rebounds in 56 career games (21 starts) with averages of 4.5 points and 2.9 rebounds.

14        Chris Hudson, Fr, F, 6-5, Hodgdon, Maine (Williston Northampton School)

  • Led Bentley in minutes played off the bench (289 in 23 contests, an average of 12.6 per game).
  • Averaged 3.8 points and 2.7 rebounds, leading Falcon freshmen in both categories.
  • Among players with at least 200 minutes played, led the Falcons in offensive rebounds per 40 minutes, averaging 3.6.
  • At St. Michael's Feb. 15, came off the bench to give Bentley 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting.
  • Also scored in doubles Dec. 19 when he had 10 points in only 13 minutes at American International.
  • Set season highs with nine rebounds, four offensive rebounds and 25 minutes against Southern New Hampshire Feb. 6.

12        Seth Stankiewicz, Fr, G, 6-0, Reading, Pa. (Reading HS)

  • Came off the bench in 19 games, averaging 3.4 points and 8.4 minutes.
  • Scored 14 points without missing a shot (5-5 fg, 4-4 3's) in 14 minutes at Franklin Pierce Nov. 19.
  • Averaged 5.9 points and 13.6 minutes during the season's first nine games, a stretch in which he made 11 of 23 three-pointers.

24        Chris Murray, Sr, G, 6-0, Littleton, Mass. (Littleton HS)

  • Appeared in 24 games off the bench, averaging 9.9 minutes and 2.6 points.
  • Double-figure minutes 13 times with a high of 24 against Saint Anselm Feb. 18.
  • Drained three of four three-pointers at St. Michael's Feb. 15 for a career-best nine points.
  • Finished career with 115 points, 58 assists and 55 rebounds in 68 games.

22        Tyler Gibson, Sr, F, 6-5, Rockland, Mass. (Rockland HS)

  • Saw action in 16 games and averaged 3.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 7.9 minutes.
  • Averaged 14.2 rebounds, including 7.6 offensive, per 40 minutes
  • Scored 14 points, on 6-of-8 shooting, and had eight rebounds in 16 minutes against St. Michael's Dec. 7.
  • Made three starts during the first half of the season.
  • 82 points and 71 rebounds in 41 career games.

30        Matt Turkington, Jr, F, 6-5, Cromwell, Conn. (Cromwell HS)

  • Averaged 2.2 points, 1.2 rebounds and 10.0 minutes in 21 games off the bench.
  • After totaling 19 minutes in the season's first 11 games, played 16 against Bridgeport Dec. 30 and responded with three triples and nine points.
  • Scored career-high 13 points and made 4-of-5 threes in 18 minutes off the bench against Pace Jan. 18.
  • In 24 career games, owns averages of 2.3 points and 1.0 rebounds.
