WALTHAM, Mass. – Following two losses by a total of three points and an eight-day break for exams, the Bentley University men's basketball team will be back in action Monday night when the Falcons visit American International College for a non-conference contest. Four Falcons score between 9.0 and 10.2 points a game, a list headed by junior forward Brandon Wheeler (Stamford, Conn./Trinity Catholic HS). Bentley's leading rebounder (7.0 average), has made 51 percent of his field goal attempts en route to a 10.2 points per game.

Also scoring at least nine a game are sophomore forward Zach Gilpin (Houlton, Maine/ Houlton Academy) and senior guards Ferguson Duke (Dartmouth, N.S./Hun School (N.J.)) and Matt Barr (Stratham, N.H./Exeter HS).

Six-foot-five junior Tahlib Swan has been having a productive first season in an AIC uniform with the Essex Community College transfer averaging 13.4 points and 7.1 assists. Sophomore guard Jayvon Pitts-Young follows at 13.3 ppg and the Yellow Jackets also received 12.4 a game from sophomore point guard Bruce Spruell.

Senior guard Juwan Moody is the team's most prolific three-point shooter with 25 in 10 games and junior guard Kassim Kaba is AIC's most accurate shooter from deep, having made 21 of 49 (.429).

As a team, AIC scores 69.2 points a game while giving up 73.6.

Monday's game will be the penultimate game of 2016 for the Falcons, who'll close out the year Dec. 30 with a 3 pm home game against Bridgeport.
