COLCHESTER, Vermont – Gracie Moore scored the game's only goal, and Mia Trottie notched her fourth shutout of the season as the Bentley field hockey team beat St. Michael's, 1-0, in Vermont Wednesday afternoon. It is the Falcons' fourth consecutive win.
The Northeast-10 teams entered the midway point in a scoreless tie, but Bentley broke through when Gracie Moore put back a rebound for her second goal of the season. McKenzie Carey was credited with the assist.
The Falcons' defense made life easy for Trottie, who needed to turn away just two shot on frame. Trottie's 0.77 goals-against average leads the NE10.
Bentley is on the road this weekend when it takes on Mercy Saturday, Oct. 7, at 12 p.m.
