Dion, Maguire Selected for NFHCA Division II North-South All-Star Game
WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University seniors Nicole Dion (Lunenburg/Lunenburg HS) and Beth Maguire (Medfield/Medfield HS) have been selected to participate in the 2012 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II North-South All-Star Game.
The game will be held Saturday at 2 pm at UMass-Lowell as part of the NCAA Division II Field Hockey Championship weekend.
Maguire, a first-team All-Northeast-10 selection, led the Falcons in scoring with 11 goals and 27 points. She closed out her career last weekend with two goals in Bentley's NCAA tournament loss to Merrimack.
Dion, a four-year starter, shifted to midfield this season after playing most of her career on the forward line. She was a member of the 2012 Capital One NCAA Division II Academic All-America women's at-large second team.
Bentley finished the season with an 11-8 record
