Bio

(Left Bentley after 2013 season)

An eight-year member of the Bentley coaching staff, Darin Colucci was promoted to associate head coach for the 2013 season. He has been the team's offensive coordinator since 2008 after coaching the quarterbacks (2007) and the defensive secondary (2006) during his first two seasons with the Falcons.

Colucci, a member of Steve Nelson’s staff at Curry College from 2002-04, has helped his teams win nearly 70 percent of the time during his 10 years as a college offensive coordinator and QB coach, with an aggregate record of 72-32. Numerous school records have been broken, including this past fall when Danny Guadagnoli broke the existing Bentley standards for passing yards and total offense in both a game and season. The list of records also includes Bryant Johnson, Bentley’s QB from 2009-2011, setting records for completion percentage in a season and career, and passing efficiency in a season.

During his six years as Bentley's OC, the Falcons have averaged 383.8 yards, 26.3 points and nearly 21 first downs. Both the 2011 and 2013 teams put up over 430 yards a game and the 2011 team produced 34 points a game.

Quarterbacks he has coached have won numerous individual honors, including team MVP, Northeast-10 MVP, ECAC Rookie of the Year, the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston Swede Nelson Award, a d2football.com Offensive Player of the Week award and several weekly Gold Helmet awards.

A managing partner with the law firm of Colucci, Colucci, Marcus and Flavin, Colucci was the offensive coordinator at King Philip High School in 2005 before coming to Bentley.

A native of Pompton Lakes, N.J. where he was a high school All-American quarterback, Colucci went on to a four-year career at Bucknell. After receiving his B.A. in Political Science in 1987, he went on to the Suffolk University Law School, graduating cum laude in 1993.
