WALTHAM, Massachusetts – Jake Tarentino earned the prestigious Academic All-American nod from College Sports Communicators (CSC), the organization announced Tuesday.

Tarentino is the 12^th student-athlete in Bentley football history to receive Academic All-American, and he is the 93^rd Bentley student-athlete overall to earn the distinction.

The graduate wide receiver is posting a GPA over 3.80 while studying finance. The Clark, N.J. native has appeared in every game for Bentley since the 2021 season. This past fall, his 23 receptions tied for third on the team, and he totaled 253 receiving yards.

Tarentino's career-best game was at Southern Connecticut (Sept. 23), where he amassed 86 receiving yards on six catches.

Tarentino's academic career also includes Academic All-Northeast-10 selections, National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society, and three D2ADA Academic Achievement Awards.
