Three Bentley Falcons Selected for CoSIDA Academic All-District® Honors in Football

WALTHAM, Mass. – Three seniors on the 2020-21 Bentley University football team have been selected for the CoSIDA Division II Academic All-District® football team for Super Region 1, as announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

They are running back Andrew Brazicki (Franklin Park, N.J./St. Thomas Aquinas HS), offensive lineman Jack Kennedy (Marstons Mills/Barnstable HS) and long snapper Max Drinon (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./St. Paul's School (N.H.)).

All three will move on to the national ballot for Academic All-America® consideration.

Super Region 1 includes athletes from the Northeast-10 Conference, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference and the Mountain East Conference.

Brazicki, the only one of the three who'll be returning for his final season of eligibility in the fall, led Bentley in rushing annually from 2017-19, gaining 479, 637 and 541 in his first three seasons.  He's scored 16 career touchdowns and will enter the 2021 season with 1,552 rushing yards, needing 205 to crack Bentley's all-time top ten list.

Drinon was Bentley's long snapper during the 2018 and 2019 seasons, appearing in a total of 18 games.

Kennedy earned first-team All-Northeast-10 honors as a junior in 2019 after starting all 10 games at left tackle for the conference champions. He helped the Falcons rank second in the NE10 in scoring (32.7), total offense (411.5), third down conversions (44.2%) and fewest sacks (16).

Brazicki has achieved a 3.70 grade point average while majoring in corporate finance and accounting. Drinon, whose major is supply chain management, owns a 3.56 GPA, and Kennedy has a 3.36 as a management major.

Bentley, which captured the 2019 Northeast-10 Championship, saw its 2020 season cancelled due to the pandemic.
