Biscardi, Carmichael & Sarnoski Named Bentley Football Captains for Week 10

WALTHAM, Mass. – Grad student Matt Biscardi (Holbrook, N.Y./St. Anthony's HS), senior Jack Sarnoski (Lancaster/Nashoba Reg. HS) and sophomore Andrew Carmichael (Wayland/Wayland HS) will serve as the Bentley University football captains for Saturday's game at the University of New Haven, head coach Bill Kavanaugh announced.

This will be the fourth time, including the third straight week, that Biscardi will lead the Falcon offense, and the second time that Carmichael will be the special teams' captain. Sarnoski received the honor on defense for the first time.

Biscardi, a six-foot-one, 270-pounder, shifted from guard to center last week following an injury to a teammate. He'll be playing in his 40th career game Saturday, all but two as a starter.

Sarnoski, a first-year starter at linebacker who has appeared in 41 of 42 career games, had 27 tackles, 1.5 tackles for losses and a pass break-up this season. He has been consistent with at least three tackles in six straight games and seven of the last eight.

Carmichael, a linebacker by trade, plays on virtually special team for the Falcons and has been the team's most consistent special teams' player this season, according to Kavanaugh. He's been in on 13 tackles this season, and he also has a 16-yard kickoff return to his credit.

Bentley, 5-4 overall and 5-3 Northeast-10, will be looking for its third win in its last four games Saturday.
