WALTHAM, Mass. – Brendan Sencaj earned the Northeast-10 Rookie of the Week award after an impressive week at the plate for the Falcon baseball team.

In three games, Sencaj went 6-for-9 with two home runs and five RBI.

He went 2-for-3 for a home run on Friday against Molloy in the first game of Bentley's Florida trip. He followed that by going 2-for-3 with an RBI in Saturday's 4-2 victory over California (Pa.). On Sunday he was 2-for-3 with a three-run homer in the team's 10-7 victory over Wilmington.

On the season Sencaj is hitting .371 with a .489 on-base percentage. He leads the team with four homers and is second with 13 RBI.

Sencaj is the second straight Falcon to be named the NE10 Rookie of the Week after center fielder Hunter Smith was the choice last week.

The Falcons are in the middle of their eight-game trip in Florida, which continues on Monday with a game against Southern Connecticut State.
