WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University left-hander Jared Brooks (Hollis Center, Maine/Cheverus HS) was selected for the 2022 Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference baseball team.

Brooks, a graduate student, had an impressive spring for the Falcons with his seven wins and 85 strikeouts both good for third on the program's all-time list. He completed four of his 11 starts and finished with a 7-3 record and a 4.82 ERA in his 71 innings of work.

Brooks, who was among the top five in the conference in wins, strikeouts and complete games, was responsible for 41 percent of the Falcons' wins this season. The third-team All-Northeast-10 selection averaged 10.77 strikeouts per nine innings and earned two victories against both the Assumption Greyhounds and the Stonehill Skyhawks.

In three Bentley seasons, Brooks posted a 10-7 record and struck out 129 in 114 innings. Including his time at Stonehill, he had 17 career victories.

Brooks, who received his Bachelors' degree in finance in 2021, is pursuing his MBA.
