Bentley continues annual ascension in Learfield Directors' Cup standings

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley placed 85th overall in the 2023-24 Learfield Directors' Cup NCAA D-II standings, the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) recently announced. It is Bentley's best finish since 2013-14, when Falcon varsity teams combined to place 63rd nationally. There are 238 D-II members in the 2023-24 Learfield Directors' Cup standings.

Bentley totaled 231 points in this year's Learfield Directors' Cup, tying fellow Northeast-10 member Assumption. Bentley amassed 100 points during the 2023 fall season, highlighted by the volleyball program's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Elite-8.

Bentley had a historic spring season, with three teams qualifying for spring NCAA Championships in the same year for the first time in school history (women's lacrosse, men's lacrosse, men's golf).

Bentley has been steadily climbing the Learfield Directors' Cup standings in recent years. In 2017-18, Bentley finished 200th overall, and then 172nd the following year.

The Cup was halted for consecutive years (2019-21), before resuming in 2021-22. That year, Bentley placed 117th in the nation. Last year, in 2022-23, Bentley finished 99th in the Learfield Directors' Cup Standings.
