Bentley Athletics places second in the 2023-24 NE10 Presidents' Cup

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley finished second in the 2023-24 Northeast-10 Presidents' Cup, the conference announced this week. It is Bentley's best standing since placing second in 2015-16. Bentley finished third in each of the previous two years.

Bentley's men's and women's teams combined for 148.0 points in the Presidents' Cup Standings. Adelphi won the Cup with 178.5 points. In men's sports, Falcon teams totaled 69.0 points (second in the NE10). Women's teams combined for 79.0 points for Bentley, which ranked third in the conference.

Bentley's top points getters in the fall include field hockey (12.0), men's soccer (10.0), volleyball (9.5), and men's cross country (9.0). The women's basketball team added 11.5 points, and the men's basketball team contributed 10.0 points. The men's and women's swimming & diving teams both came away with 7.0 points.

The women's lacrosse team paced all Bentley spring teams with 9.5 points towards the Presidents' Cup. Bentley Athletics had a historic spring season, with three teams qualifying for spring NCAA Championships for the first time in school history (women's lacrosse, men's lacrosse, men's golf).

The Bentley volleyball, field hockey, and women's basketball teams also reached NCAA postseasons during the 2023-24 academic year.
