A Message from Bentley Athletics

The Bentley University Athletics Department joins President Chrite, the Student Government Association, and the Bentley community in stating unequivocally that there is no place for sexual harassment, discrimination, assault or misconduct at our university. We will work in partnership with the university to hold responsible those who are found to have committed these acts.

Each of us has a role to play in changing the culture in our community. Athletics will continue to support student-athletes who are survivors of sexual violence. We will stay committed to our annual efforts including mandatory training for all student-athletes, coaches and staff on how to prevent and respond to sexual violence; bystander training on how to intercede when witnessing inappropriate behavior or sexual assault; and the continuation of our partnership with the university's Office of Wellness and Health Promotion in the annual White Ribbon Campaign to end violence against women and girls. We will use the available resources on campus and beyond to ensure that a trauma-informed care approach is used to support victims.

Athletics exists as a vehicle for pride and community spirit at Bentley. That spirit cannot be achieved unless we all work together to improve the university culture and until every member of our community feels safe, respected and supported. We are committed to doing our part to make Bentley better for all.
