The 2011 Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference team in women’s outdoor track include three Bentley University athletes: juniors Keisha Johnson (Randolph/Randolph HS) and Evelyn Marrero (Amsterdam, N.Y./Amsterdam HS), and sophomore All-America Amy Varsell (Burlington, Conn./Lewis S. Mills HS).

Varsell Named to Capital One Academic All-District 1 Second Team

Bentley University sophomore All-America Amy Varsell (Burlington, Conn./ Lewis S. Mills HS) has been selected to the 2010-11 Capital One Academic All-District 1 Women’s Track college division second team by the region’s sports information directors. Varsell was also one of five members of the Bentley track team recently named to the 2010-11 Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference Indoor Track team. That list also included juniors Evelyn Marrero (Amsterdam, N.Y./Amsterdam HS) and Steven Long (Allston/Newton North HS) and sophomores John Drago (Avon, Conn./Avon HS) and Curtis Trueb (Eastchester, N.Y./Eastchester HS).
