Bentley Sweeps Saint Rose on Senior Night

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley celebrated Senior Night in style with a three sets to none victory over Saint Rose on Friday night by scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-12.

The Falcons reached 20 wins on the season, improving to 20-4 overall and 8-1 in the NE10. They've won 17 out of their last 18 matches going back to Sept. 15.

Prior to the match, Angie Grabmeier, Caitlin Wunder, Maddy Kelley and Ellie Wheeler were honored in the Senior Night ceremony.

Once the match started the Falcons were all business as they hit. 310 as a team in the opening set to win it by eight points. Wunder had four kills and Ingrid Murphy had five in the first set.

Murphy and Rachel Vitko led the way in the second set with four kills and Natalie Thom had eight assists. Elizabeth Blinn notched three block assists in the set.

Bentley dominated in the third set and hit .407 as a team to close out the match 25-12.

They Falcons will be back in action next Friday as they begin a season closing road trip at Adelphi.
