Buscher Makes It a Three-Peat on Academic All-Northeast-10 Team

WALTHAM, Mass.  – Bentley University senior outside hitter Jaci Buscher (Lakewood, Colo./ Rocky Mountain HS), who became the first women's volleyball Academic All-America® in program history, was recently chosen for the Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference team for the third consecutive season.

A two-time second-team All-Northeast-10 selection who finished a standout career with 962 kills, 934 digs and 94 aces, Buscher led the Falcons in kills for the second straight year. She averaged 3.04 kills and 3.6 points, and was also second on the team in service aces (0.32) and digs (2.65).

Buscher's senior season included nine double-doubles and double-digit kills 20 times, with a high of 19 against Lubbock Christian.  She was one of only two players in the conference to average at least three kills, 2.5 digs and 0.35 aces.

Buscher shined in the classroom as she has compiled a 3.89 grade point average while majoring in both economics-finance and liberal studies.  Six times during her collegiate career, she's been named to the President's List.

Bentley achieved an 18-10 record during the 2015 season, including 11-3 in conference action.
