WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University senior tri-captain Jessica Segal (West Harrison, N.Y./ Harrison HS) has been named the Libero of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference after excelling during the team's weekend trip to upstate and central New York.

Segal averaged 6.38 digs and had a .954 reception percentage as the third place Falcons split a pair of matches. She made 27 digs at Saint Rose and nearly matched that with 24 at Le Moyne.

For the season, in her first year as the team's libero, Segal is averaging 4.99 digs per set, ranking eighth in the conference. She's had over 30 twice with 35 against Lubbock Christian and 34 at Southern Connecticut State.

Also recognized for her play over the weekend, with selection to the NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll, was senior outside hitter Jaci Buscher (Lakewood, Colo./Green Mountain HS). She produced 3.5 kills, 3.0 digs, 0.63 blocks, 0.5 aces and 4.38 points with a .256 hitting percentage in the two matches. After 12 kills and 3 aces in a 3-1 loss to Saint Rose, she hit .292 with 16 kills, 17 digs, 4 blocks and an ace as Bentley rallied for a four-set win at Le Moyne, the Dolphins' 1st home loss of 2015.

Bentley, 16-8 overall and 9-3 in the NE-10, will return to action Friday night with a home match against New Haven.
