WALTHAM, Mass. – Sophomore Jaci Buscher (Lakewood, Colo./Green Mountain HS) and junior Tatiana Froehlich (Newton/Newton North HS) each put up double-doubles as Bentley University took the final three sets for a 3-1 win over Assumption College in Northeast-10 Conference women's volleyball Tuesday night at the Dana Center.

Buscher finished with 14 kills, a career-best 21 digs, three aces and two blocks for her fifth double-double of the year, and Froehlich's third double-double included 12 kills, 15 digs and a .324 hitting percentage.

With the win, Bentley moved into a tie for second in the NE-10 and improved to 13-7 overall. The Falcons hit .273 and had their second-highest dig total of the season, finishing with 84. Junior libero Lauren Colasanti (Northville, Mich./Northville HS) led the way in that category with 26.

After dropping the opening set 25-18, Bentley used five kills by junior Kaleigh Sullivan (Naples, Fla./Harley School, N.Y.) to take a closely contested second, 25-22. The third was anything else close with 12 kills and a .478 hitting percentage producing a 25-7 Falcon victory.

In the fourth, a run of six straight points turned a 7-4 Assumption lead into a 10-7 Falcon advantage and Bentley went on to prevail 25-13. Buscher had four kills during that 6-0 run and a total of eight in the set.

Sullivan was the third Falcon to reach double-digits in kills, finishing with 11 and a team-best .364 hitting percentage. Junior setter Alex Tator (Los Angeles, Calif./Marlborough School) provided the assist on 50 of 52 kills, and also put down three herself.
