WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University sophomore outside hitter Kelsey Buckner (San Marino, Calif./San Marino HS) was recently selected for the 2012 Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference women's volleyball team.

Buckner led the Falcons in both kills and points for the second straight year, averaging 2.55 kills and 3.1 points during her second collegiate season. She played in every set, finished with eight double-doubles and had at least ten kills 15 times. In addition, Buckner averaged 2.22 digs, 0.45 blocks and 0.31 aces.

A member of the 2011 Northeast-10 All-Rookie Team, Buckner has career averages of 2.84 kills and 2.33 digs.

The six-footer has also excelled in the classroom, with a 3.76 grade point average as a finance major. During her first three semesters, Buckner made the President's List twice and the Dean's List once.
