SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Freshman Savannah Dominguez (Miami, Fla./Palmer Trinity HS) had 10 blocks, the most by a Falcon in four years, and classmate Kelsey Buckner (San Marino, Calif./San Marino HS) put down 18 kills as Bentley University completed a 2-0 trip to New York with a four-set win over Le Moyne College in Northeast-10 Conference women's volleyball Saturday afternoon at the Ted Grant Court.

Both Dominguez and Buckner notched double-doubles in the 25-20, 21-25, 25-23, 25-23 victory that boosted the Falcons to 5-3 in the NE-10 and evened the overall record at 10-10.  Dominguez finished with 10 kills and Buckner had 12 digs, with the double-double her eighth.

Dominguez started strong with five kills and three digs in the opening set, which saw an early 6-0 spurt put the Falcons in front for good at 7-1.

Buckner and sophomore Ashley Ahearn (Marshfield, Mass./Marshfield HS) had six and five kills, respectively in the third set as Bentley regained control of the match. Four of Dominguez' blocks came in the set.

Bentley was on the short end of a 21-18 score in the fourth before rallying to win, with freshman Lauren Colasanti (Northville, Mich./Northville HS) serving during most of the comeback and providing two aces, the second making it 24-21. After the Dolphins (11-9, 1-6 NE-10) closed to within one, Buckner ended the match with her eighth kill of the set coming off the 42nd assist of the match from freshman setter Alex Tator (Los Angeles, Calif./Marlborough School).

Both Dominguez and Buckner hit well en route to their double-doubles, finishing at .316 and .243, respectively.

Junior outside hitter Allison Hebel (Greenlawn, N.Y.) led Le Moyne with 11 kills.

Bentley will wrap up a string of seven straight matches away from home Tuesday night at Merrimack (7 pm).
