EASTON, Mass. – Among events that concluded on Friday at the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships, sophomore Lucy Ambroult (Holbrook/Holbrook HS) had the highest finish by a Bentley University student-athlete.

Ambroult placed fifth among 21 competitors in the long jump, clearing 17 feet, 6.75 inches.

Senior Samantha Bilodeau (New Ipswich, N.H./Mascenic Reg. HS) also scored for the Falcons as she was seventh of 14 in the 10,000, finishing in 39:42.61.

Qualifying for Saturday's finals were freshman Caitlin Burmester (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Dublin HS) and senior Chase Davies (Marblehead/Marblehead HS). Burmester had the sixth best time in the 800 (2:21.85) and Davies was the seventh best in the 100 hurdles (15.03 seconds).

That was one of five events for Davies on the day as she competed in four events as part of the heptathlon. The defending NE10 champion totaled 2,620 points, good for third place with the long jump, javelin and 800 remaining.

Davies had the best performance among the eight competitors in the 100 hurdles (14.85) and the 200 (26.32), with the latter a PR by 1.02 seconds and the seventh best in program history.

Bentley scored seven points Friday and is currently in 10th place.
