Falcons downed by SNHU, 6-1
WALTHAM, Mass. – Southern New Hampshire improved to 3-1 on the season with a 6-1 victory over Bentley on Thursday afternoon in a Northeast-10 matchup.
The Penmen won the doubles point with a sweep of three matches, then won five of six in singles.
Adriana Hiraldo won the No. 2 singles match over SNHU's Verena Weindl for Bentley's point.
The doubles lineup for the Falcons had Hiraldo and Maria Mella in No. 1, Catalina Borrero and Remi LeSage in No. 2 and Libby Keefe and Chloe Arsenault in No. 3.
In singles, Mella was on the No. 1 court against SNHU's Dejana Abadzic. The remainder of the singles lineup for Bentley had Borrero in No. 3, Anna Lang in No. 4, Keefe in No. 5 and Hannah Gould in No. 6.
Bentley's next match is on Saturday at Saint Michael's.
