WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The University of New Haven improved to 5-3 in Northeast-10 matches with a 7-0 victory over Bentley University on Tuesday.

Valentinna Ferrarini, the reigning NE10 Player and Rookie of the Week, was one of three Chargers to win in both singles and doubles. The others were Karim Carreras and Kacie Banks.

Ferrarini and Carreras combined for a win in No. 1 doubles, and they occupied the top two singles positions for the Chargers.

Banks took wins in No. 3 doubles and singles.

The Falcons fell to 2-5 in NE10 matches on the season. They will be back on the courts on Wednesday afternoon for a 3:00 pm match at Assumption.
