Romagnano and Lang Win in Doubles but Bentley Falls to SNHU 5-2

Waltham, Mass. – Sophomore Makena Romagnano (New Albany, Ohio/New Albany) and freshman Anna Lang (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand) won in doubles, but Southern New Hampshire won for the third time in four matches with a 5-2 victory over Bentley University on Sunday afternoon.

Romagnano and Lang earned a 6-3 win in the No. 2 doubles match, getting better of SNHU's team of Elizabeth Dwyer and Mina Houge.

Bentley's team of sophomore Zoe Chin (Lexington, Mass./Lexington) and freshman Remi LeSage (Sarasota, Fla./IMG) also won the No. 3 match to give the Falcons the doubles point.

SNHU though rallied to win each of the singles matches that were contested. The Penmen improved their record to 6-2 on the season with the win.

The Falcons will look to bounce back on Wednesday, when they are next scheduled to play again, against Adelphi.
