Providence, R.I. – The Bentley University women's tennis faced some tough competition on Thursday in the form of Division I Providence College, and the Friars came away with a 7-0 victory.

Providence competes in the Big East Conference for tennis as they do in their other Division I sports.

The defeat snaps a two match winning streak for the Falcons. They began the season with wins over Saint Anselm, 5-2 on March 25, and AIC, 4-3 on March 28.

The Falcons are next scheduled to be back on the courts on Friday when they host New Haven in a Northeast-10 match. That match is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM.
