Huminski, Almog Represented Bentley in NCAA Div. II Diving Qualifier

GREENSBORO, N.C.  – Junior Mary Huminski (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand HS) and freshman Hilla Almog (Wayland, Mass./Wayland HS) represented Bentley University Tuesday during the NCAA Division II Diving Qualifier at the Greensboro Athletic Center.

Huminski, making her second trip to the national qualifier, was 27th off the one-meter and 34th off the three-meter. Almog placed 29th and 45th off the two boards.

Huminski posted a score of 194.20 from the one-meter with her highest scoring dive (41.40) coming in the back one-and-a-half somersault pike.  In the three-meter, which was contested in the morning, she recorded a 193.10. The four-time Northeast-10 champion finished strong with a score of 39.90 on an inward one-and-a-half somersault pike and a 40.80 on a back one-and-a-half somersault one-and-a-half twist free.

Almog had scores of 189.15 from the one-meter and 146.30 from the three-meter. Her best diver off the one-meter was a forward two-and-a-half somersault pike, in which she received 40.30 points and her highest scoring diver off the three-meter was the back one-and-half somersault pike, in which she received 36.30 points.
