Boston Globe West: "Bedford sisters star in the pool at Yale, Bentley"
Marvin Pave, a sports correspondent for the Boston Globe West section, wrote about swimming sisters from Bedford, Bentley's Brooke and Yale's Olivia, for the Feb. 3 edition of the paper.
Once record-setting relay teammates at Bedford High, sisters Olivia and Brooke Jameson continue to star in the pool — Olivia at Yale University, undefeated in 14 dual meets, and Brooke at Bentley University, which is riding an 11-dual meet win streak.
Olivia, 22, a senior economics major, qualified for the 2016 Olympic trials in the 200-meter backstroke and was part of Yale's Ivy League meet champion 400 and 800-yard freestyle relay team.
A senior captain at Bedford High, Olivia was the 2013 state champion in the 200-yard freestyle.
"Her attention to detail is amazing and she never lets adversity get in her way. Olivia is a great swimmer and an example of what you put in you take out,'' said Yale head women's swim coach Jim Henry, whose team was competing Feb. 3-4 in the Harvard-Yale-Princeton Tri Meet.
