WALTHAM, Mass. – Junior Emily Niemiec (Meriden, Conn./Francis T. Maloney HS) heads a list of three members of the Bentley University women's swimming team who were tabbed for preseason All-Northeast-10 Conference recognition by CollegeSwimming.com.

The others were sophomore Kate Kaduboski (Dedham/Dedham HS) and junior Anne Warren (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron HS).

Niemiec was cited in three events: the 200 yard breaststroke, the 200 individual medley and the 400 IM. At last February's Northeast-10 Championships, she repeated as conference champion in the 200 breast (2:23.18) and broke the school records while placing second in both the 200 IM (2:06.50) and 400 IM (4:30.36)

Kaduboski was recognized in the 200 backstroke (2:05.82), an event in which she finished second in the 2016 NE-10's. She was also third in the 400 IM (4:33.01) and fourth in the 100 back (59.31) during the championships.

Warren's honor came in the 200 butterfly. She was second in the event at the NE-10's, finishing in 2:08.39.
