Kaduboski, Hodsdon & 3 Divers to Represent Bentley in San Antonio

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Bentley University senior Anne Kaduboski (Dedham/Dedham HS) will be making her third appearance in the nationals and sophomore teammate Jessica Hodsdon (Brewer, Maine/Brewer HS) her first when the 2011 NCAA Division II Women's Swimming and Diving Championships are held at the Palo Alto Natatorium in San Antonio, Texas Mar. 9-12.

The official psych sheet for the championships has been announced with Kaduboski entered in six events and Hodsdon in three.

Kaduboski has the seventh best qualifying time in the 200 yard butterfly at 2:03.04, and is number ten in the 200 backstroke (2:03.40). Last year, she placed ninth in the 200 fly, earning honorable mention All-America recognition, and 17th in the 200 back, just missing the consolation finals.

Kaduboski, who can compete in a maximum of four events, is also 20th on the psych sheet in the 400 individual medley (4:31.40), 24th in the 100 fly (57.12), 28th in the 100 back (57.80) and 66th in the 200 freestyle (1:56.07).

Hodsdon's premier event is the 100 breaststroke where she is 12th on the entry list with a clocking of 1:04.78. She is also 34th in the 200 breast (2:25.82) and 51st in the 200 IM (2:11.44).

Three Bentley divers have earned the right to compete in a pre-qualifying meet on March 8 for the right to advance to the championships. Senior Emily Travers (Brentwood, N.H./Exeter HS) and sophomore Abby Mathews (Chelmsford/Chelmsford HS) will compete in both the one-meter and the three-meter, and the one-meter field will also include sophomore Shelly D'Aleo (Enfield, Conn./Suffield Academy).

The top 11 on each board will earn the right to compete in the championships, and if divers quality on both, others will be added for a total field of 22.
