CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Bentley senior Dana Goulet (Wilmington, Mass./Wilmington) scored for a second straight match as the Falcons women's soccer team and Holy Family played to a 1-1 draw on Friday night.
Goulet scored in the 19th minute to give Bentley a 1-0 lead. That was her second goal of the young season after she scored in Wednesday's game against Wilmington.
Senior Maeli Cherry (Westford, Mass./Westford Academy) had the assist on the goal after she fed a pass into the box that Goulet converted for the goal.
Bentley led 1-0 at halftime, and into the second half, but Holy Family answered with a goal by Maura Kilkenny in the 62nd minute, assisted by Jacqueline Ziegler to tie it up 1-1.
The Falcons finished the night with a 10-6 edge in shots on goal, including 2-1 in the 20 minutes of overtime. Graduate student goalkeeper Kat Hassapis (North Reading, Mass./North Reading) made five saves in goal for Bentley.
All three of Bentley's matches this season have gone to overtime, and they will take a 0-1-2 record in Wednesday's Northeast-10 Conference opener at New Haven.
