McDonald Named to NE10 Academic All-Conference Team

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University's Brandi McDonald (East Bridgewater, Mass./East Bridgewater) was named to the Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference team for women's soccer as the conference revealed its Academic All-Conference teams for the fall sports.

To be eligible for selection to the NE10 Academic All-Conference teams, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) participated in at least half of the team's competitions and been either a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); and 3) completed at least one academic year at his/her current institution.

McDonald is a midfielder with a major in actuarial science, and just completed her junior season. She helped the Falcons reach the NE10 playoffs for the first time since 2007 with a seventh place finish in the NE10 regular season standings. She was tied for second on the team in points (9), and led the team in assists (5), while she chipped in two goals.

McDonald has been a starter all three of her seasons at Bentley, and has five goals and eight assists for 18 points in her career thus far.
