WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University women's soccer freshman Kat Hassapis (North Reading, Mass./North Reading) has claimed both the Goalkeeper and Rookie of the Week awards from the Northeast-10, it was revealed Monday.

Hassapis was in goal for all 213 minutes in two overtime games for the Falcons last week; a 1-1 tie with No. 21 ranked Southern New Hampshire and a 2-1 double overtime victory over Southern Connecticut.

She made her first career start against the Penmen and made 11 saves, six of which came in the second half. Three days later she stopped nine shots in the Falcons' 2-1 victory over the Owls. Seven saves came in the second half and overtime.

In the two games combined, Hassapis made 20 saves with a .909 save percentage and 0.82 goals against average.

Bentley, 3-6-1 in NE10 matches, is back in action tomorrow afternoon when they host Pace for a 3:30 pm kickoff.
