WALTHAM, Mass. – After helping Bentley University to two victories last week, sophomore keeper Christiana Hynds (West Roxbury, Mass./Boston Latin) was chosen as the Select Sport Northeast-10 Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week, the conference revealed Monday.

Hynds played every minute in goal and made 15 total saves last week as the Falcons posted victories over UMass-Lowell 1-0 and Assumption 2-1 in overtime.

She made eight saves in the win over the River Hawks and seven against the Greyhounds as Bentley rallied from 1-0 down.

Hynds has started all 13 matches for Bentley this season. She's second in the NE-10 in saves (81) and seventh in minutes played (1204). It's the first time in her career she's been honored by the NE-10.

The Falcons will look to make it three wins in a row when they host Stonehill Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 pm.
