#18 Women’s Lacrosse Wins 5th Straight, 22-14 over SNHU

WALTHAM, Mass. - #18 ranked Bentley won its fifth straight game on Wednesday night with a 22-14 victory over Southern New Hampshire.

One game after she tied the program record of 11 points in a single game, Maeve Johnson almost hit that number again with a 10-point night. She notched six goals and four assists to lead the attack.

Courtney Dermody had five goals and Caroline Affolter and Amanda Davis also had hat tricks.

The 22 goals are a team season high.

Emma Jadul had two caused turnovers and four ground balls and Affolter had three caused turnovers.

The Falcons had a big second quarter and outscored the Penmen 7-1 to take a 12-4 lead at halftime.

In the third quarter they steadily built their lead to 10 goals on three different occasions.

They finished the game off in the fourth quarter with goals by Dermody, Johnson, Lindsay Dawson and Sophia Pope.

The Falcons will now prep for their next game, which is Saturday at 5:30 at Saint Anselm.
