Johnson Tabbed as NE10 Player of the Week
WALTHAM, Mass. – Maeve Johnson was tabbed as the Northeast 10 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week on Monday.
Johnson tied the school record for both goals (9) and points (11) in a single-game in Saturday's 17-7 victory at Saint Rose.
She began the week with a five goal, one assist performance on April 2 in a 19-5 victory over Franklin Pierce.
For the week she totaled 14 goals and three assists.
This is the first time in her career she has been named the NE10 Player of the Week.
On the season Johnson leads the Falcons in both goals (33) and points (47). She's tied for fourth in the NE10 in both categories.
Also on Monday, freshman goalie Lauren Rochel was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll.
The Falcons have won four straight contests and are ranked 18th in this week's IWLCA poll. They're next in action on Wednesday night at home against Southern New Hampshire.
