Johnson Ties School Record for Goals and Points in a Game as Falcons Win Third Straight

ALBANY, N.Y. – Maeve Johnson tied Bentley's single-game record for goals with nine and points with 11 as the #19 ranked Falcons won at Saint Rose 17-7 on Saturday night.

Johnson's nine goals tied the record held by Lauren Ferraro, set in the 2001 season against Franklin Pierce. And her 11 points tied the record held by Ferraro as well, set in 2001 against Saint Anselm.

Johnson scored three goals in the first quarter and four in the second quarter, including three in a row at the end of the half to give the Falcons an 11-5 halftime lead.

She scored once in each of the 3rd and 4th quarters and added assists in the 1st and 3rd quarters.

Caitlin Keenan also had a big night for the Falcons with four goals and three assists, equaling the career high for points she established just one game ago against Franklin Pierce.

Courtney Dermody pulled down a game-high eight draw controls for the Falcons, who improved to 6-4 on the season and 4-1 in the NE10.

The Falcons will be back in action on Wednesday night when they host Southern New Hampshire.
