Keenan Notches Six Assists in 19-5 Victory over Franklin Pierce

WALTHAM, Mass. - #19 ranked Bentley scored 19 goals for the second straight game in a 19-5 victory over Franklin Pierce on Tuesday night.

The Falcons led from start to finish for their third win in a row. They improved to 5-4 overall and 3-1 in the NE10.

Caitlin Keenan had a game high seven points, with six of those being assists. That's the most by a Falcon in a game this season.

Maeve Johnson notched five goals and Amanda Davis scored four.

Freshman Ava Pirozzolo scored her first career goal for the Falcons, who face Saint Rose on the road on Saturday.

Bentley started fast with a 5-0 lead after eight-plus minutes of the opening quarter. Goals by Caroline Affolter, Davis, Courtney Dermody and two by Johnson were apart of the opening run.

Leading 6-2 after the first quarter, a 5-0 run in just 2:35 to begin the second quarter gave the Falcons an 11-2 lead.

Seven draw controls by Affolter and five by Betsy Norko helped the Falcons control possession and saw the team have a 21-6 advantage in that category.

Goalie Lauren Rochel turned away seven shots to earn the win.
