Northeast-10 Release

WALTHAM, Mass. – Lauren Rochel was named the Northeast 10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Goalie of the Week on Monday.

Across two games and 90 minutes of action, Rochel posted a 67.7 save percentage with 21 saves and two wins.

A freshman, her first career start was on March 27 at nationally ranked Assumption. She helped the Falcons to a 10-8 win by making 19 saves, with a 70.4 save percentage. Rochel then started on Saturday against AIC and also earned the win. She played the first half as the Falcons cruised to a 19-3 victory.

Rochel had previously made two substitute appearances this season against Saint Leo and Florida Southern.

Her 19 saves against Assumption are the most by a Falcons goalie in a single game since former All-America Eliza Bresler had 22 against Southern New Hampshire on April 27, 2019.

The Falcons, who are ranked 19^th in this week's IWLCA poll, host Franklin Pierce on Tuesday night.
