Bresler Named First Team All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine

Waltham, Mass. – Graduate student goalkeeper Eliza Bresler (Newton, Mass./Newton North) of the Bentley University women's lacrosse team has been named a first team, Division II All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine.

USA Lacrosse Magazine's list of All-Americans is compiled by staff and contributors, with input from college coaches and other sources. 

Bresler helped lead the Falcons this season to their first NE10 Championship, which they won with a 9-8 victory over Adelphi on May 9. They earned the program its first bid to the NCAA Tournament as the No. 3 seed in the East Region. The Falcons were also regular season champions of the NE10 Northeast Division.

Bresler currently leads Division II in both save percentage at .599, and in total saves with 169. She also boasts the 7th lowest goals against average at 7.76. Her goalkeeping record for the season finished at 12-3.

Bresler's lists of accolades is long for this season alone. It includes the NE10 Northeast Division Goalie of the Year, first team All-NE10 and the Most Outstanding Player of the NE10 Championship.

As a junior in the 2019 season, she became the Bentley women's lacrosse program's first, first team All-American, as chosen by the IWLCA.

The Falcons finished the season with a 12-3 record and were selected to the NCAA Tournament as the No. 3 seed in the East Region.
