Bentley Debuts at No. 24 in IWLCA Division II Poll
WALTHAM, Mass. – Four straight victories, three of which have been over ranked teams, have lifted the Bentley University women's lacrosse team into the IWCLA's Division II Top 25 poll for the first time this season. The Falcons leaped into this week's poll at No. 24.
The Falcons beat two ranked teams last week in Northeast-10 rivals Assumption and Stonehill. They claimed a 14-13 road win over the Greyhounds on March 20th, who were ranked 25th at the time, and defeated the then-24th ranked Skyhawks 10-8 on Saturday at home.
The winning streak has also included an 11-10 overtime road victory over then-16th ranked New York Tech, and a 17-12 home win over AIC.
Bentley will look to extend its winning streak this week with a pair of games, starting on Wednesday at home against Franklin Pierce at 3:00 pm. On Saturday they will travel to Saint Anselm.
