Bentley Tabbed 4th in Northeast-10 Preseason Coaches’ Poll

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University has been voted 4th by the Northeast-10's women's lacrosse head coaches in the preseason poll, the conference announced Thursday.

The Falcons have already been ranked 12th in the IWLCA's preseason poll, and 13th in the US Lacrosse Magazine preseason poll.

In the NE10 poll, Bentley registered 136 points, just one behind New Haven. The Chargers received 137 points to come in just ahead of the Falcons. The top spot in the poll went to defending NE10 champs Adelphi, which received 168 points, and 12 of 14 first-place votes. Le Moyne is 2nd in the poll with 158 points, and the other two first-place votes. Stonehill, with 111 points, rounds out in the top-five.

The start of Bentley's season is still a little more than three weeks away. They'll get underway on Monday, March 6 against Grand Valley State at Tierney Field in Sparks, Maryland, which is the headquarters of US Lacrosse. Bentley will also play there on March 8th against Queens (N.C.).
