Women’s Lacrosse Picked 5th in NE-10 Preseason Poll
WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley has been picked 5th in the Northeast-10 Preseason Coaches' Poll as voted on by the league's 14 head coaches. The Falcons get their season underway on Wednesday, March 2 on the road against Dowling.
Bentley is coming off its third double-digit win season in four seasons and a fourth straight Northeast-10 playoff appearance. The team went 10-6 overall and 9-4 in the NE-10, finishing 5th in the highly competitive conference.
In the poll, Bentley received 115 points to come in 5th. Adelphi topped the poll with 168 points and 12 first-place votes, followed by Le Moyne (145 points), New Haven (142), and Stonehill (136). Saint Anselm (99) rounded out the top six.
The Falcons return seven of their top-eight scorers from last season, in addition to goalie Lauren Ochs, who earned All-Conference and IWLCA All-Region honors last season.
After opening the season on the road, Bentley will play its home-opener on Tuesday, March 8 vs. Grand Valley State. For the first time ever this season, most home games will be streamed online and for free in HD on BentleyFalcons.TV
