Brown & Ochs Named IWLCA Third Team All-North Region

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley senior attacker Jackie Brown (Brookfield, Conn./Brookfield) and sophomore goalie Lauren Ochs (Rochester, N.Y./Irondequoit) were named third team All-North Region by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association on Thursday.

Brown had a stellar senior season for the blue and black, notching a team-high 43 goals and 50 points. Those 43 goals ranks her ninth in the Northeast-10, which features several of the top goal scorers in Division II. Brown was a consistent offensive threat for the 2015 Falcons as she scored at least three goals in 10 of 16 games, and had six games with at least four goals. She was named the Northeast-10 Player of the Week on April 14, and she finished her career with 124 goals, good for sixth most in program history.

Ochs was previously named second team All-Conference by the NE-10. She played every minute in goal, clocking in at exactly 945 minutes and posted a 10-6 record. Ochs made 145 total saves throughout the season, fourth most in the NE-10. She turned in several standout performances during the year, including a season-high 17 saves in a win over Southern New Hampshire March 14, and she made double-digit saves in five other games.

The two helped Bentley to a 10-6 record and the program's 14th Northeast-10 playoff appearance since 2000.
