Bastien & Kynoch Pick Up All-Northeast-10 Honors

WALTHAM, Mass. – Ahead of today's Northeast-10 first round game against Saint Anselm, two Bentley women's lacrosse players were named All-Conference as attacker Taylor Bastien (North Kingstown, R.I./North Kingstown) and midfielder Carolyn Kynoch (Ashland, Mass./Ashland) were voted to the second team.

Bastien's All-Conference honor is the first of her career in the highly competitive Northeast-10. Bastien's 39 assists currently rank third in the conference and is the third most by a Bentley player in a single-season. She's also added 17 goals to give her 56 points, which leads the team. Her career totals of 120 assists is second most in program history and her 217 points is tied for third.

Kynoch's 32 goals is tied for the team lead with Jackie Brown (Brookfield, Conn./Brookfield), and they are also tied for second in points with 37. She also leads the team in draw controls (48) and is second in caused turnovers (11). Kynoch is one goal away from 100 for her career, which would make her the eighth player in school history to reach the century mark. It's her second appearance on the All-Conference team, after she was named first team last season as a junior.
